Cumberland Wildpark Grünau
Grünau, Austria
The Cumberland Wildpark Grünau impresses besides other things by its unique scenic location. The tremendous natural backdrop of the Dead Mountains provides an impressive setting for a visit that will be never forgotten! The park extends to over 60 hectares and offers an unforgettable insight into the world of indigenous wildlife. Capricorn, red deer, bison, or even lynx, brown bear and wolf are here to experience and observe up close. Particularly impressive are the free-living flocks of gray geese, ravens and Waldrappen. During a relaxing hike on well-paved hiking trails through forests and meadows, along a stream and many ponds, you cross the natural habitat of the animal inhabitants. Rest areas invite you to relax and observe nature. All paths are easy and also passable with a stroller or wheelchair. The hiking trails are well cleared even in winter. If you would like to rest after a varied walk through the Cumberland Wildpark, you will find an opportunity in the rustic Wildparkbuffet.
